BRAIN STATION 23

Brain Station Upgrades to Contactless Attendance with Tipsoi Fastface 5

Brain Station 23, a leading AI-ready software service company in Bangladesh, has been empowering startups, SMEs, and enterprises for years with fast, scalable tech solutions across Fintech, Pharma, Retail, and more. With a team growing in size and sophistication, the company realized it was time to upgrade one of its most foundational systems: employee attendance.

Inovace’s fingerprint-based biometric system has been used by Brain Station 23 for six years to manage attendance. The fingerprint method is effective but has its limitations when it comes to hygiene and recognition speed compared to the face-recognized system. In contrast to contactless systems, fingerprint recognition may be slower during peak times and may be affected by the environment.

That leap came in the form of Tipsoi Fastface 5, a next-generation face recognition attendance device by Inovace.

Why Brain Station 23 Chose Tipsoi Fastface 5

Faster Recognition Speed – With sub-1-second face recognition, employees can check in quickly and smoothly, even during rush periods.

AI-Powered Dynamic Recognition – The device identifies faces in motion, reducing the need for employees to pause and pose.

Massive Capacity – Supports up to 50,000 face templates, ideal for rapidly scaling teams.

Touchless Hygiene – Face recognition eliminates the need for physical contact, aligning with global health and workplace hygiene standards.

Future-Proof Tech – This upgrade reflects Brain Station 23’s forward-thinking approach to workplace automation and employee experience.

“Over the past six years, we have been using Inovace’s biometric attendance products. Taking a step forward in our digital transformation, we upgraded to Tipsoi Fastface 5 in order to address the limitations of fingerprint recognition. A fully contactless system that supports a more hygienic workplace and faster check-ins are some of the benefits we are already seeing.” — HR Team, Brain Station 23.

By adopting Tipsoi Fastface 5, Brain Station 23 is streamlining attendance tracking and demonstrating its commitment to innovation and operational excellence in the Bangladeshi tech industry.

Stay tuned to Tipsoi to see how forward-thinking organizations are redefining attendance and workforce management with intelligent, AI-powered solutions.

Top 8 Benefits of Using Facial Recognition Technology for SME

Facial recognition is no longer just for big enterprises. Here’s how small and medium-sized businesses are using it to simplify operations and boost efficiency.

Running a small or medium-sized business comes with daily challenges, from managing attendance to ensuring workplace safety. More and more SMEs are now adopting facial recognition technology as a smart, contactless way to streamline check-ins, reduce time theft, and improve daily operations. Here are eight reasons why this trend is gaining momentum.

1. Employees Can Check-In Securely and Without Physical Contact
With facial recognition, employees can check in without touching any devices, which reduces hygiene risks and ensures only authorized individuals have access.

2. Check-In and Access Control Processes Become Much Faster and More Efficient
Face-based systems improve flow at entry points and reduce bottlenecks during peak hours by processing check-ins within seconds.

3. Time Theft and Buddy Punching Are Effectively Prevented
It is impossible to clock in for someone else because every face is unique. This helps reduce the number of false entries and maintain the integrity of attendance.

4. Operational Costs Are Reduced Over Time
Long-term savings can be achieved by eliminating manual tracking, improving maintenance, and eliminating the need to repair physical cards and fingerprints.

5. Facial Recognition Works Reliably Even in Harsh Working Environments
SME’s operating in factories, kitchens, or outdoor sites can use facial recognition, despite hands being wet, dusty, or occupied.

6. Workplace Security Is Significantly Enhanced
Your premises are secure because the system logs entry times precisely and blocksunauthorized access.

7. Managers Gain Access to Real-Time Attendance Monitoring and Insights
The web dashboard allows managers to track attendance instantly, helping them to makedaily decisions, plan shifts, and ensure accountability.

8. Adopting Facial Recognition Technology Builds a Modern and Professional Brand Image
When you adopt smart tech like facial recognition, you show your team and customers that you’re forward-looking, efficient, and innovative.

Today, facial recognition isn’t just a luxury. It’s becoming a practical solution to everyday business challenges. For SMEs looking to modernize without breaking the bank, it provides a scalable and efficient upgrade. Your business can benefit from this technology as it becomes more accessible.
