Securing 4,000 Employee Entries, Visitors and Vehicle Management at BSEZ
How can a 470-acre industrial zone operate smoothly while ensuring top-notch security and infrastructure? The Tipsoi project fulfilled the difficult challenge of creating a safe and efficient industrial zone on a large scale. Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) is not just an ordinary industrial hub. It represents “Japan Quality in Bangladesh” — the outcome of a partnership between Bangladeshi and Japanese engineers. Companies like Singer and Beko have set up factories in this zone for smooth operations, supported by world-class infrastructure: water and sewage treatment, smart telecom, electricity, and advanced flood protection. With 469.5 acres, BSEZ makes an impact on the nation’s growth while maintaining safety and smooth business operations.
Security Challenge: The Need for Smarter Security at BSEZ
Imagine handling access for about 4,000 employees and countless visitors and vehicles every day across nearly 470 acres—doing it manually caused lengthy delays, errors, and security risks. Visitor information was managed separately in Google Sheets, which created confusion and reduced transparency. Vehicle checks were another challenge, demanding constant manual verification and causing blockages. BSEZ knew that relying on these outdated processes meant more reliable security system. The need for automation was clear.
The Tipsoi Solution: Security Made Simple, Smart, and Seamless
Whenever smarter security is needed, Tipsoi is the go-to expert. So, BSEZ partnered with Tipsoi to replace old manual systems with a fully automated solution. Bangladesh’s leading access control specialist. The goal was clear: replace outdated manual methods with a fully automated, reliable system tailored to BSEZ’s unique scale and challenges. Tipsoi designed a solution that seamlessly manages entry for thousands of employees, visitors, and vehicles every day, while ensuring safety and efficiency across the entire 470-acre zone.

The Tipsoi Solution: Security Made Simple, Smart, and Seamless
Each morning at BSEZ brought unique challenges, especially due to the limited power supply in access areas during daytime hours, making entry management for over 4,000 employees difficult. As a response to this issue, Tipsoi designed a custom charging station with intelligent power supplies and powerful battery backups that paired RFID-based TF-80 devices with custom charging stations. In the night, these stations draw power from the same line as street lamps, which have power from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, storing enough power to ensure that the system operates smoothly during the day, when it is most needed.

Innovative Visitor Management Solution for Real-Time Tracking

Efficient Vehicle Access Control Solution for Automation
Tipsoi introduced a vehicle management system for BSEZ using sticker technology, making it easy to track and control access for thousands of vehicles daily. Each authorised vehicle received a unique branded sticker, and UHF antennas at entry points automatically verified vehicles from 10 to 12 meters away. The system automatically verified registration and authorisation, granting access only to those approved. Every vehicle’s number, ownership info, entry time, and associated company were captured in detailed, real-time reports. High-voltage intelligent power supplies supported nonstop operation of the antennas, ensuring reliability. Through this automation, BSEZ streamlined vehicle entry, eliminated manual checking delays, and made the entire access control process safer and more efficient.
Implementation Process: Built Tough for Real-World Needs
Tipsoi’s work at BSEZ was built to handle real challenges. They made four strong steel lanes with weatherproof glass and stainless steel kiosks with rotating devices that last through daily use and harsh weather. Since significant construction wasn’t allowed, all wires were safely put underground to keep the area safe and clean. The power system uses smart supplies, including charging stations for employee devices, with strong battery backups that charge at night and keep everything running during the day. And Bigger power IPS units provide extra power for vehicle antennas, WiFi routers, and CCTV cameras. All equipment is kept safe in custom weatherproof boxes near walkways. This setup works quietly in the background, fitting well with BSEZ’s daily work while maintaining reliable and smooth security.

Results: Smoother Security, Happier People
It’s clear that Tipsoi’s access solutions improved security and operations at BSEZ right away. Unauthorized entries dropped, and overall monitoring became better. With faster processes and improved safety, employees, visitors, and vehicles all move through the zone smoothly.
- The RFID system and power backups mean that 4,000 workers can enter smoothly within 30–40 minutes during busy mornings.
- A pre-registered QR code and instant confirmation made access faster and easier for visitors, reducing paperwork and delays for guests, staff, and administration.
- As a result of the UHF system installed for the project, only authorized vehicles were allowed to enter, and real-time tracking of vehicle movements was provided.
The improvements added strength to BSEZ’s image as a safe, well-managed, and business-friendly zone that attracts top global companies and fosters confidence in all those who work or partner there.

We are proud to introduce Tipsoi Fastface Go Lite, a
revolutionary portable attendance device designed for field and remote locations where access to stable electricity and reliable internet can be a challenge. Whether it’s employees working in the field or students studying in underserved areas, this device ensures accurate attendance tracking, regardless of location.

Inovace’s fingerprint-based biometric system has been used by Brain Station 23 for six years to manage attendance. The fingerprint method is effective but has its limitations when it comes to hygiene and recognition speed compared to the face-recognized system. In contrast to contactless systems, fingerprint recognition may be slower during peak times and may be affected by the environment.
That leap came in the form of Tipsoi Fastface 5, a next-generation face recognition attendance device by Inovace.
